Torimikura
鶏味座 ダイバーシティ東京プラザ店
Located on the 6th floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Torimiza serves signature oyakodon made with binchotan-grilled chicken and seasoned dashi, alongside sansho variations and whole-chicken ramen sets.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
The signature dish at Torimiza (鶏味座) is the "Ultimate Oyakodon," combining chicken slow-seared over binchotan charcoal, a specialized warishita seasoning broth brewed from bonito, mackerel, and flying fish, and a generous pour of soft, runny egg. A rich yolk sits atop the steaming bowl, where the smoky charcoal fragrance and savory dashi soak deep into the rice below. True to a dedicated poultry specialist, diners can select their chicken—from tender spring chicken to premium cuts and limited-quantity Tokyo Shamo—alongside an option to add liver for deeper richness.
For a brighter, refreshing contrast, the charcoal-grilled sansho oyakodon prepared with a delicate Kyoto-style broth is another prime option. Fragrant, tingling budo sansho pepper from Kishu Wakayama pairs with fresh Kujo scallions, cleanly balancing the juicy depth of the grilled chicken.
The menu also offers hearty combinations to accompany your bowl. You can round out the meal with a mini whole-chicken ramen set featuring house-made noodles in a broth simmered for half a day, a bone-in fried chicken thigh seasoned simply with ancient sea salt, or a Shinshu-style Oidare Yakitori set tossed in a sweet-savory garlic sauce laced with fruit and aromatics.
Positioned on the sixth floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, the dining space provides counter and table seating that suits both quick solo lunches between Odaiba sightseeing and shopping or more relaxed evening meals. The aroma of charcoal smoke and the gentle warmth of dashi offer a satisfying, comforting stop while exploring Odaiba.
